Two Moose Jaw girls have received top music honours from Conservatory Canada.

Alicia Zarubin, 9, and Sarah Closs, 10, achieved the highest marks in Saskatchewan from their conservatory voice exams and will each receive a Medal of Excellence.

They also were awarded the Lillian and Don Wright National Voice Travel and Study Scholarship and will travel to London, Ont., this weekend for workshops and to receive their medals. Only 10 students from across Canada were selected.
