Don’t be deceived by the scaffolding at the Walter Scott Building.

Despite ongoing construction, businesses on the main floor of the building are open as usual.

“We just want to get the word out that we are still open. We’re taking customers. Everything is fine,” said Marnie Dickson, retail associate at the Oliv Tasting Room in the Walter Scott Building. “The construction is not affecting us, so please don’t be afraid to brave the scaffolding.”

She said Coffee Encounters, Déjà Vu and Phantastic Nails, the other businesses in the building, are also still open for business.
