For anyone living on a street marked with snow signs, it’s
critical to pay attention to local media and social media.
“When a snowfall event does occur and we’re going to call a
plow, what we do is we issue a public service announcement,” said Marlin Stusek,
engineering technologist with the City of Moose Jaw.
“That directs them to go to our public website, Facebook and
Twitter. It will detail which streets we will be plowing that day and what side
of the street people are not allowed to park on.”
