There is more work to be done on the underpass on Highway 2, but the whole road isn’t likely to be closed again.
Most of the work on the first phase of the East Feeder Water Line replacement project has been completed as the underpass opened up at the end of December after being closed for seven months.
“The main part of the job has been done. We’re waiting for some valve replacement,” said Randy Borsa, acting manager of engineering with the city.
