Shoppers won’t be able to have access to free two-hour meter
parking during the Christmas season.
On Monday, council defeated an amendment to a motion and an
original motion to allow free meter parking during the Christmas season to
promote local shopping. This initiative has been approved for the past several
years.
Coun. Dawn Luhning has voted against this initiative for a
number of years and she did so once again on Monday night.
