Giving back to the community is an admirable thing to do.
Moose Jaw has always been known for its giving spirit. Examples of this are easily spotted at fundraisers or other charity
events.
But
it’s also good to see instances where some people give back to the
community for no other reason than giving back. I think
seeing or hearing about those many people can help inspire us to
do more and to appreciate all the hard work so many people
do.
For instance, Telus has a program called Give Where We Live.
It encourages people to give back to the community by volunteering in various ways. Telus and Free the Children launched a
partnership under the same program earlier this year to get youth involved in giving back as well.
