Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Budget committee discusses voluntary flood acquisition program

The City of Moose Jaw is requesting $50,000 annually in the five-year capital budget for a voluntary flood prone property acquisition program.

“(The program) has been around for a long time. Currently, with the level of funding, we have enough funding in the reserve to purchase one property,” said city manager Garry McKay at Monday's budget committee meeting.
