Swanson brings forward motion to add pavement on 1600 block Stadacona Street West to an LIP

Most of Moose Jaw's streets are paved, but some of them aren't. The 1600 block of Stadacona Street West is one of those unpaved streets.

Having that block paved is something Coun. Brian Swanson would like to explore. At Monday's council meeting, he made a motion for pavement on that block to be included in a 2016 local improvement program (LIP).

"We have housing out up to the 1500 block of Hochelaga, Stadacona and Athabasca. The 1600 block has remained commercial, heavy retail area and the 1600 block of Stadacona West remains a gravel road and in the summertime gets quite dusty," said Swanson.
