Mayor Deb Higgins has heard comments from local youth advisory committee that vaping is becoming increasingly popular.
"They have talked about it becoming more commonplace around schools and with younger people. So that's a bit concerning because part of the original provincial anti-tobacco legislation dealt with doing away with the normalcy of smoking," she said.
A resolution regarding vaping was one that came from the four-day SUMA convention in Regina this week that Higgins attended.
