In February 2015, Dana Halvorsen noticed her water smelled funny and was yellow.
She immediately phoned the city.
"The first thing that was said to me was that there's no water warnings out so it should be safe to drink," said Halvorsen, who lives on the 900 block of Stadacona Street West.
Three weeks later, her water discolouration had worsened. She complained to the city, and again she said she was told it was safe to drink. However, at the end of March, she noticed her and her animals suffered diarrhea and her animals had blood in their droppings. Her bathtub, her toilet, her shower and her clothes were getting a yellow tinge.
