Province-wide Drop Everything and Read demonstration draws huge support at Moose Jaw locations, NDP also visit Moose Jaw to protest the budget

Over the noon hour on Friday, well over 100 residents showed their support for Saskatchewan libraries by reading outside three Sask. Party MLA offices in Moose Jaw.

It was part of a Saskatchewan-wide movement held at the same time in response to the provincial government’s 58 per cent funding cut to regional libraries as part of the 2016-17 budget.
