Walking inside the Natatorium, Byrne Turner
is amazed at how divergent everything is compared to what he remembers from the
late 1930s.
“I didn’t realize the pool was this small. I was just a kid then. I was down
here swimming all the time,” he
says. “Wow. What a
difference.”
