Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Fewer permits, less value

So far this year, as of May 31, the city has issued 17 fewer permits valued at $55.39 million less than what it issued in that period in 2014.


The city issued 108 permits between Jan. 1 to May 31 of this year with a value of $18.18 million. In the same time period in 2014, the city issued 125 permits with a total value of $73.58 million.

Last month, the city issued a total of 35 permits, with a value of $4.07 million. In May 2014, the city issued 54 permits valued at $6.18 million.

A permit for a new restaurant was the highest single permit issued in May 2015.
