Moose Jaw Lions Club to dissolve at the end of June

Eight people were honoured with prestigious awards at a recent Lions Club meeting.
“I think it’s important because these people have never had these awards and most of the other people in the club have had
them in the past,” said Bob McKenty, a Moose Jaw Lion. “This is just a way of honouring these people.”
Ron Metcalfe, Lions’ district governor, and Ryan Hrechka, Lions’ president, received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. Jones
founded Lions International in 1917.
