The city now has a bylaw for election campaign disclosure and spending limits.
Council voted in favour of the proposed bylaw at Monday’s council meeting.
“The purpose of this bylaw is to establish disclosure requirements respecting campaign contributions and expenses and to establish election campaign expense limits for mayoralty and council candidates,” said Coun. Brian Swanson.
