Big, green ogres are always full of fun. That is especially the case if the ogre’s name is Shrek.
The nearly sold-out Saturday afternoon performance of RuBarb Production’s Shrek the Musical
at the Mae Wilson Theatre at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre was filled
with laughs, tapping toes and fun for the whole family. By the end of
the production the audience gave the cast a standing ovation and little
boys and girls started dancing to the final number.

Production Inc.’s version of the Broadway musical by DreamWorks
Theatrical and Neal Street Productions has a solid cast presence with
strong vocal and emotional performances. The musical is based off the
DreamWorks Animation film Shrek and the book of the same name by William Steig.
