Council hires Matt Noble to fill position effective Oct. 1

The City of Moose Jaw had high appeal for Matt Noble.
“I looked at other potential
communities to locate in. Moose Jaw was at the top of the list,” said
Noble on Wednesday when
the city announced he is the new city manager. “We look upon Moose
Jaw as a community that is entering the transition period.
We see tremendous potential to work with a blended council … To be
honest, take all of the political jargon out of it — we’re
really excited.”
Just over two months since the city severed the contract with former city manager Garry McKay, the city announced Matt Noble
has been appointed the city manager. He will assume his position on Oct. 1.
