We should all take pride in our city. A
few days ago I spoke with someone who came into the front office of the
Times-Herald. The Moose Jaw resident of 30 years said some tourists
recently approached him asking where they should eat. He said he
questioned why they were asking and their response was that some of the
restaurants in the city looked “dirty and scary.”
He
mentioned that was not a good sign for the city and the restaurant
owners, as well as residents, should take pride in their city. He has a
valid point. Pride is important.
A day or two later something grabbed my attention on Twitter. Kent Morrison, username @KentMGlobal, tweeted on Wednesday “Wow. This is not cool. Very proud to be from #citymj and my city has much more class pic.twitter.com/uyVb9B5kU1”
