Moose Jaw won’t have a Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival next year.
At
the association’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, one of the
members made a motion to not have the festival in Moose Jaw in 2015. It
was carried.
“I wasn’t in favour of
it. I voted against it because I think it can be done, but it involves a
lot of work. It doesn’t just happen,” said festival chairman Russ
McKnight, who has been involved with the festival for 50 years.
