Carol Acton can relate perfectly to Newman’s Own Foundation’s mission statement.
“It just rings so true and resonates with us around here. It is, ‘I believe in luck, in the benevolence of it in my life and
the brutality of it in the lives of others’ and I just think that’s such an open, caring way of thinking about things and
about people and it just touches us deeply,” said Acton, the executive director of Hunger in Moose Jaw.
