Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Youth programming a hit at the library

By Lisa Goudy

More youth have been coming out to the library’s teen programming.

“It’s a great place to meet people, to make friends and to have a fun afternoon or a fun evening,” said Moose Jaw Public Library assistant head librarian Laura Shtern. “We really started teen programming in 2013. We hadn’t done very much of it before that. So we’ve been building it up and it’s been going very well.”

The youth events for ages 10 to 18 are held every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library. The next upcoming event is a screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas on Jan. 8. No registration is required and admission is free for all teen programming.
