Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Caronport students need votes to win a trip

The Grade 8 class at Caronport Elementary School
are seeking votes on their video designed to attract
people to go visit Louisbourg in Nova Scotia with a
grand prize of a class trip to Nova Scotia.

In a 60-second video, 21 students from Caronport dream about why they wish they were at Fort Louisbourg.

“It’s a contest for any Grade 8 class across Canada,” said Caronport Elementary School Grade 8 teacher Laurie Pylatuk. “We’re trying to get people to vote for us because if we’re in the top five we could win a class trip to Nova Scotia, all expenses paid.”

Sponsored by Parks Canada, the contest runs until March 22 and all voting is done online.
