Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan MP says the deal will likely increase trade for Canada

On Wednesday the European Parliament approved a revolutionary free-trade agreement with Canada.“It is a very, very good deal for Canada,” said Tom Lukiwski, Member of Parliament for the Moose Jaw-Lake Centre-Lanigan riding. “Our government did all the heavy lifting and the negotiating with the European Union countries and the current government basically finalized the deal.”
He said Canadian trade with Europe is likely to increase, as well as sales in the Moose Jaw and Saskatchewan region.
