Students at 12 different schools collected more than 2,000
pounds of garbage this year and turned it into art.
It was part of the third annual Global Warning Initiative,
an art challenge among high schools, elementary schools and community groups to
create pieces of art using recycled materials put on by AXIS, a youth
committee, and Beautifi Moose Jaw. Wednesday, the exhibit opened at the Moose
Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, where it will be until Aug. 21.
