There’s something about the rural areas of the Prairies that makes the Scott Woods Band fiddle shows such a success each year.

 
“Maybe it goes back to our ancestors who were fiddle players and entertained themselves, but I guess our music speaks to more of a rural crowd and they tend to eat it up,” Woods told the Times-Herald.
