After 25 years of making music together, the Real McKenzies know how to transform folklore to song.
"Scotland, it's a magical place. So we're most certainly going to capitalize on that on our new album as well as some Robert Burns stuff and some other traditionals," said the band's frontman Paul McKenzie.
"There's so much folklore and so many songs and so many poems and not only Scottish stuff, but Irish stuff and Canadian stuff as well. So we've got a never-ending plethora of material."
