Capt. Frank Smyslo's eyes glistened as he tried to find the words to describe what Remembrance Day meant to him.
Having been in the military for 12 years, including three tours in Afghanistan, Remembrance Day is even more in the forefront of his and his family's lives.
"It's important for us to remember those who serve past and present and sacrifices that have been made for our freedom and the freedom of others," said Smyslo.
