Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Local teen wins international video contest

Grade 9 Cornerstone Christian School student wins $10,000 dream computer setup

Tuesday started out as an ordinary morning for 14-year-old Ryland Wiberg. He woke up and wandered over to his computer to check his email. What he saw made his day.

Wiberg, a Grade 9 student at Cornerstone Christian School, had an email in his inbox from the global UltraWide Festival 2015 contest informing him that he was one of three grand prize winners of a dream computer setup with a budget of $10,000.


"I tried to keep myself as cool as possible, but I kind of ended up just freaking out everywhere," said Wiberg. "It was a pretty good way to start the day."
