Infrastructure, public safety, quality of life among priorities for SUMA, city

The federal election is still 33 days away, but Mayor Deb Higgins is lobbying candidates and then whoever forms government
about certain issues.
"I haven't seen too many of them so far. We're still pretty early," said Higgins. "I've watched, of course, the federal debates.
I think there's one coming up this week on the economy ... There hasn't been an awful lot of discussion on infrastructure
so far."
The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities
Association (SUMA), along with partners such as the Federation of
Canadian Municipalities
(FCM) has come up with a list of priorities that communities feel
need to be lobbied. There are four areas most relevant to
Moose Jaw.
