Dale Jackman is compelled to give away school supplies for kids who need it.

"Being a former teacher, it upset me when children had to try to find the supplies," he said. "I grew up in a poor home and my mom always managed to get the supplies and everything, but I thought, 'Oh George. The cost of them nowadays, wow, it's so darn expensive' and parents shouldn't have to be worrying about school supplies."

He was a teacher for 37 years for students from Grades 7 to 12.
