Councillors are still going ahead with public consultation on narrow streets, but the decision was slightly amended.
At the Aug. 25 executive committee meetings, councillors voted in favour of having a public consultation to implement any or all of five options, such as restricting parking on one side of certain narrow streets, having a parking permit practice for narrow avenues, removing all city services and refuse collection from rear lanes with no legal access and letting residents know through mail outs, online, social media and in the paper.
At Tuesday's council meeting, however, Coun. Heather Eby brought up the motion for a revote.
