Soon, users of the Kinsmen Sportsplex will
no longer see buckets on the floor in the hallway.
“The last time I was at the Kinsmen
swimming, it was a little bit upsetting, I have to say, to see five-gallon
plastic buckets placed in the hallways and in the dressing rooms to catch
leakage from the roof,” said Mayor Deb Higgins.
“It’s a beautiful facility that serves the
community well and we need to make sure we’re maintaining it so it will be a
service to the community for many years to come.”
