Citizens won’t have access to an evening transit service this year.
Budget committee shot down a proposal to
implement evening transit on an hourly basis from 6:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Monday to Friday at Saturday’s budget committee meeting.
“It wasn’t being utilized in the evening. I’m not convinced that if we put it in place again that it would be utilized again and I mean, how many times are we going to change this around?” said Coun. Dawn Luhning. “There’s no proof that it will be utilized for the budget costs.”
