This week marked nine years to the day since Jan Matity had a heart attack.
“I probably would’ve had a stroke if it hadn’t been for getting up and getting moving and watching what you eat and all that kind of stuff,” she said. “It really is a good thing.”
Being involved in the Five Hills Health Region (FHHR)’s Cardiaction Exercise Program – now held at YaraCentre – and finding fellowship with the Moose Jaw Cardiaction Support Group have made the world of a difference for Matity.
