I have always wanted to go to Berlin.
Being part German, I’ve always taken an interest in German culture. (I
am also part Irish and I have a deep interest in Irish culture as well. Ireland
is another location on my list of places I must visit).
Even after hearing of the tragedy in Berlin that eerily mirrors the
attack in Nice in France, this doesn’t dampen my desire to go.
But do not take this as not having compassion for the horrors that
happened at the market. It was terrifying and part of my heart seemed to break
when I woke to hear the news of what happened.
