Moose Jaw MLAs, NDP leader talk about gov’t forecasted deficit

Faced with a forecasted $1 billion deficit, the provincial government has already made a number of funding cuts and more are likely to come.

“It’s not like we’re going to get a magic bullet,” said Greg Lawrence, MLA for Moose Jaw Wakamow. 

“As the finance minister said, and the premier’s reiterated, everything’s on the table. We have to take a good, hard look at what we do as government and make sure as government we do what we need to do.”
