Tom Jackson knows what it's like to live on the streets.
That's because before he found fame on the CBC drama, 'North of 60,' he lived on the streets in Winnipeg at the age of 38 because of addiction. Now, the actor, singer and TV personality is channeling that experience to help others in his travelling show.
"It's not just about seeing the show. It's about raising money for the local food bank," said Jackson, who has recorded 16 albums, including the latest release 'Ballads Not Bullets' in support of the Canadian Red Cross. "Christmas is a verb as much as it is a noun."
