The materials budget, which is part of the Palliser Regional Library levy, needs to increase by 2.7 per cent to $6,727 to keep up with inflation. The figure is calculated using the Consumer Price Index statistics for the province related to education and reading.
With the increase, the library will be able to maintain the level of expenses seen in 2014.
