Nov. 9, 1989 was a big date in history. It marked the moment the Berlin Wall came down.
Now 25 years into the past, the event still holds monumental significance, even for someone like me who wasn’t born until
after the Berlin Wall was taken down.
It was more than getting rid of a structure. It was about taking down the divides that had existed among opposing viewpoints
for 28 years. This was a wonderful step forward for our world. It symbolized freedom and unity.
I think we could all learn something from the taking down of the wall. In many ways, invisible versions of the Berlin Wall
still exist today.
