Certified physical therapist Lynne Brochu prefers treating the cause of the problem.

“If you have a sore shoulder as an example, I’m not even really interested in your shoulder and I don’t right away believe that your shoulder needs treatment,” said Brochu. “I’m interested in finding what area of mal-alignment in your body is driving or causing your shoulder problem and that’s what I want to treat.”

She opened her new physiotherapy clinic, Within: Self Mastery Through and Beyond Physical Therapy Inc., at 102-53 Stadacona St. W. The red brick building where her business is located was recently renovated and restored.

Trained in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM), she only uses the ISM.
