Moose Jaw’s bike skills park is on the right track.
At Monday's executive committee meeting, pending final council approval, executive committee approved the construction of a bicycle skills park in Moose Jaw on the area west of YaraCentre and the 2005 Canada Games Soccer Field on High Street.
“A few people who have mentioned this to me has just been pure support for it,” said Coun. Candis Kirkpatrick. “They’re excited about it. They think it’s going to be a real asset to the city. So I’m real happy to hear that.”
The Moose Jaw Police Association proposed building the park to executive committee on June 17. It will be Saskatchewan’s first bicycle skills park.
