Electronic voting is back again for the upcoming municipal
election on Oct. 24.
“It’s a very effective method for cities in Saskatchewan,” said
city-clerk/solicitor Myron Gulka-Tiechko, adding that it is also used in Regina,
Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton. “There’s no mechanical way to monitor
votes or anything. It’s fairly fraud-proof.”
