In the wake of unofficial Pink Week in Moose Jaw, Ward
Strueby is careful to distinguish between conflict and bullying.
“Bullying and conflict sometimes get intermixed back and
forth,” said Strueby, superintendent of learning with the Holy Trinity Catholic
School Division.
Conflict is a disagreement or difference in opinion between
peers with equal power in their relationships, whereas bullying is a persistent
pattern of aggressive or unwelcome behaviour often involving an imbalance of
power.
