The kind of music Niharika Singh listened to on Tuesday at
Saskatchewan Polytechnic was a lot different than the music she heard in her home
in India.
Desperate for Haggis performed to kick off the second annual
Intercultural Week at Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Moose Jaw campus over the noon
hour on Tuesday, performing traditional Scottish and Celtic music. Tuesday was
also the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial
Discrimination.
