Shoes were tapping as the Band City Band played the Second World War tune, “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” on Saturday night.

The packed Timothy Eaton Gardens’ auditorium was host to the 15 Wing Fellowship’s first annual musical swing. It was a fundraiser for the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) at 15 Wing.

“We’re kind of the family’s first stop when they get somewhere. When you don’t know anybody, we’re the first place they come to and we try to build a sense of community around them and get them involved in the Moose Jaw community as well as the military community,” said Amy Blanchard, community integration and volunteer services co-ordinator with the MFRC at 15 Wing.
