The reading of a will at a cottage, a psychic medium, bee stings and mistaking one person for a prostitute will all unfold
in an upcoming play.
“It’s quite hilarious. It’s a family who goes
back to the cottage, essentially that they went to as children, to have
their
mother’s will read and then it’s just essentially a bunch of bumps
and turns that happen while they’re there,” said Heather
Adams, artistic director of the play Squirrel Lake by Brian
Mitchell. “It just becomes funnier and funnier as the story unfolds.
It’s a pretty brilliant play, I got to say.”
The Mortlach Star Players will put on the play at the Mortlach Community Hall as a dinner theatre on April 4, 5, 11 and 12
and as a dessert theatre on April 13.
