The 44th annual Saskatchewan Reading Council convention arrived in Moose Jaw for the first time on Thursday. “It’s
to bring teachers together to talk about reading, not only as in why we
want kids to read, but on how teachers can go about teaching strategies
and motivating students, because in order to be able to learn, you have
to be able to read,” said Amanda Hassen, conference co-chair and
