Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Moose Jaw student Kendra Vanstone wins Sask. professional leadership award

Grade 11 student Kendra Vanstone was in shock when she found out she’d received the Saskatchewan Junior Achievement Professional
Leadership Award. “When I found out, when (my teacher) Mr. Young told me, I was just like, ‘No. You’re kidding.’ It was really cool,” she said.
“I’m just so honoured to be able to receive this and I’m excited for everything it has in store.” As part of the award, Vanstone, who is
a student at Cornerstone Christian School, will also receive an
all-expense paid trip
to Toronto to do business workshops and discuss international
issues at the Next Generation Leaders Forum taking place from
Aug. 17 to 23. More than 200 students from across Canada and
around the world will attend the conference. Read more
