Some of the bleachers at Ross Wells Ball Park are being replaced this year.
“There’s old wooden bleachers there. They were installed I think in 1988 or 1989 and they’ve come up for replacement,” said Kelly Mentanko, operations manager for the city’s parks and recreation department. “They’re rotting and stuff like that. So one section is going to be replaced with aluminum bleachers and we’re looking for tenders right now.”
