David Kessler believes in people-centred care when caring for people on their deathbeds.
“We can’t take away the pain of death, but we
can help people find a little more meaning in those tough, tough days of
their
life,” said Kessler, a leading expert on death and grief from Los
Angeles and the founder of www.Grief.com. “It’s important
to tell families and loved ones what they’re going to experience
when they’re at the end of their life so that they’re prepared
and realizing that what they’re feeling is normal and that they’re
going to be loved and taken care of during that time of
life.”
